TUCSON - FieldTurf has been chosen by the University of Arizona football program as the new surface for Arizona Stadium. The innovative FieldTurf Revolution CoolPlay turf system will be installed to provide for an elite-level artificial surface and to reduce surface temperature.

"We're excited to have FieldTurf install their product at Arizona Stadium", said Arizona Athletics Director Greg Byrne. "The surface they are able to provide will be a great enhancement to our stadium and will benefit our coaches and student-athletes with its cooling system. We've been working to upgrade Arizona Stadium and installing FieldTurf is another step in the right direction."

FieldTurf's exclusive cork top dressing allows the CoolPlay system to deliver the same behavior and overall stability as FieldTurf's elite system fields found in the world's most famous stadiums. CoolPlay was designed to reduce the heat without any reduction in field performance.
