TUCSON- An automotive repair shop in midtown was damaged by fire late Friday night.
According to Tucson Fire Captain Barrett Baker, crews were dispatched to Auto Max in the 3500 block of East Grant Road at 11 p.m. for reports of a building fire.
When crews arrived, they found flames coming from the front door of the business.
Firefighters were able to bring the fire under control in six minutes, limiting the damage to the front doorway and exterior of the building.
Other TFD crews on-site did a search for occupants, but found the building to be unoccupied at the time.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
Damage estimates to the business are unknown at this time.
