Fit-4-14 Week 3 Progress Report

TUCSON - The quest to Fit-4-14 continues. And after seeing some early progress after our first progress report it's getting a little tougher to shed those unwanted pounds.

Our trainers, Bryan Mashburn and Jayson Ryder, at Amped Fitness have been guiding Team KIIM FM and Team Tucson Today through custom workouts 2-3 times a week. Shannon, Porkchop, Danielle and I have been doing our best to change our eating habits instead of dieting.

We all want to shed some pounds and improve our fitness in the most healthy way possible. To make it more fun and to keep us motivated we're competiting for bragging rights. Which ever team loses the highest weight percentage by February 22 will raise their hands in victory.

After our second weigh-in Shannon has lost 7 pounds which is 4 percent of her starting weight. Porkchop has lost 9 pounds, 3 percent Danielle 3 pounds, 2 percent and I've lost 5 pounds, 3 percent.

So KIIM-FM has the early lead but slow and steady will most likely win this competition.
