TUCSON - A brief cool down will take place on Friday after stringing together more than a week with temperatures well above 70 degrees.
The tail end of a front will move through the region and produce some gusty winds, up to 25 mph, and lower our highs into the upper 60s. Skies will be mostly cloudy with some gradual afternoon clearing.
It's back to the 70s with full sunshine as we head into the weekend.
According to Chief Meteorologist Matt Brode, there are signs that we could see a more dramatic pattern change as we head into the first week of February. This could entail much cooler and possibly more unsettled weather.
