TUCSON - A gem of a forecast this afternoon. The same can't be said for the world's best golfers.
High pressure parked over the West Coast locks in sunny skies & warmer temps through the weekend, according to News 4 Meteorologist Jeff Beamish. Daytime highs range from the mid 60's today to the low 70's tomorrow & this weekend. The Tucson metro should be freeze-free the next several night, as lows bottom out in the 40's.
The only weather worry through early next week will be gusty winds Saturday afternoon, possibly up to 20 MPH.
Several models signal an approaching storm system the middle of next week. The opening round of Match Play Wednesday may be greeted with a slight chance of showers and gusty winds. Temperatures also look to cool down, with low 60's for highs.
