TUCSON - Good news for cookie-lovers, Girl Scout cookie booths are now open for business across Southern Arizona.
Customers can get their cookie fix by visiting one of the many Girl Scout cookie booths that will be located in front of various store locations throughout the Southern Arizona region including: Wal-Mart, Safeway, Basha's, Fry's, Albertsons, Lowes, Walgreens and Vantage West Credit Union locations.
This year the Girl Scouts have expanded their cookie booth locations to include kiosk booths at Tucson Mall and Park Place. This is the first year Girl Scouts of Southern Arizona have set up shop in Tucson's two largest malls. The mall cookie booths will be open for business on weekends starting Saturday February 2nd through Sunday, March 3rd.
"We are continually thankful to all of the local merchants who support the Girl Scouts of Southern Arizona by giving us a place for our many cookie booths. This year we are growing the number of booths we will have around the Southern Arizona region, including two new cookie booth locations at Tucson Mall and Park Place," said Girl Scouts of Southern Arizona CEO, Debbie Rich. "We are excited to be working with Tucson Mall and Park Place this year and these new locations will help us get boxes of cookies into the hands of the community easier."
With multiple cookie booths open across the region the Girl Scouts of Arizona have also created an online cookie locator that will search for convenient cookie sales sites in people's neighborhood. The cookie locator may be found by visiting the Girl Scouts of Southern Arizona's website at:
and clicking "find your cookies here" or by downloading the cookie locator app on their smartphone.
