TUCSON- The third annual Thin Mint Sprint is taking place Sunday, September 28 at Brandi Fenton Memorial Park. Families, teams, and individuals can participate in the five-kilometer Thin Mint Sprint or the one-mile Rah Rah Raisin Run. Children 6 and under can run in the free 100 meter Doc Dash.
All races start at 7:30 a.m. and follow a flat route through the park and Rillito River Trail.
Racers who make it to the finish line will receive a Girl Scout Cookie.
Registration is $20 for children under 12 and $25 for general admission by September 26.
Participants are asked to bring gently used sneakers and running shoes for the Max Cure Foundation's Dunk You Kicks program in support of pediatric cancer.
