TUCSON - Several groups are banding together and conducting a graffiti clean-up project Saturday.
According to the Tucson Police Department, the project will be aimed at the Las Vistas and South Park neighborhoods on the south side of Tucson.
All of the paint and equipment was donated by Graffiti Protective Coatings.
Water and refreshments will be donated by Wal-Mart. Volunteers from both organizations as well as members of the Tucson Boys & Girls club and Holmes Tuttle Clubhouse will be present to assist.
Anyone who is interested in helping with this project is welcome to participate.
The event will begin and be coordinated out of the Holmes Tuttle Clubhouse at 2585 E. 36th Street.
The start time will be 7:00 am and the event is scheduled to be completed by 11:30 a.m.
