Gusty winds developing today, lingering overnight

TUCSON - 5th straight day with below average temperatures on tap this afternoon.

Today's forecast high of 85° is a degree or two below normal for late April, according to News 4 Meteorologist Jeff Beamish. An increasing pressure gradient will help develop gusty winds up to 20 MPH. Winds remain elevated overnight, especially on the east side of Metro Tucson.

Another blustery day is expected tomorrow with winds finally easing off for the first half of the weekend. 90° temps return by Saturday with gusty winds making a comeback early next week. Sunshine reigns supreme in our skies the next 7 days.
