Hawaii braces for double-whammy of big storms

Honolulu - A hurricane and tropical storm were barreling toward Hawaii on Tuesday as islanders hurried to stores to scavenge for supplies ahead of what forecasters warned could be an extremely rare one-two punch. Hurricane Iselle was about 1,000 miles away from the main Hawaiian islands just after 8 p.m. ET Tuesday and was churning towards the state at 13 miles per hour after weakening a bit overnight, according to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration's Central Pacific Hurricane Center. Tropical Storm Julio is "moving quickly west" and trailing behind Iselle, according to the National Hurricane Service.
