TUCSON - A conference next month will provide information about policy and system changes taking place across Pima County to address the growing obesity epidemic.
The free Healthy Pima Conference will be held on Friday, March 16 at the Westin La Paloma Resort, located at 3800 E. Sunrise Drive.
There will be speakers, presentations by community partners, and the premiere of a video retrospective on the Communities Putting Prevention to Work program.
The conference will review the successes and challenges of the Healthy Pima organization, and there will be discussion on how to assure the positive community momentum continues into the future.
