TUCSON - Triple digit temps reign supreme heading into the weekend.
High pressure off the southern California coast controls Arizona's weather over the next week, according to News 4 Meteorologist Jeff Beamish. Tucson reaches 102° this afternoon, making for the 26th triple digit day of the year.
Enough moisture creeps up from Mexico to potentially trigger a stray shower/storm in the Chiricahuas today. The vast majority of the Sky Islands look dry to wrap the work week.
High temps peak in the 104-106° range for the 1st day of Summer tomorrow. The mercury hovers around these numbers through the middle of next week.
