High winds fan South Tucson mobile home fire

TUCSON - Firefighter crews battled a mobile home fire Friday morning.

High winds fueled the fire, which completely destroyed the home, Drexel Heights Fire Department spokeswoman Tracy Koslowski said.

The resident and her two dogs were able to safely evacuate the home safely, Koslowski said. No injuries were reported.

The two residents that lived there are being assisted by the Red Cross.

Several agencies were on scene, including Pascua Pueblo Fire, Tohono O'odham Fire and the Pima County Sheriff's, Koslowski said.
