Hikers attacked by bees on Northwest side trail

ORO VALLEY- Pima County Sheriff's Deputies along with Golder Ranch Fire and Southern Arizona Rescue Association are on scene of a hiker rescue near North Oracle Road and East Calle Concordia at the Linda Vista Trail head.

According to Will Seeley with Golder Ranch Fire, five hikers were attacked by bees on the trail this morning, including a six-year-old child.

Pima County Sheriff's Deputy Tom Peine says the child has been taken to the hospital with bee stings.
