TUCSON - While three of the four corners of the USA have major weather makers in the forecast, the Desert Southwest prepares for some major February heat.
As a massive dome of high pressure builds into the region over the next few days, the mercury will keep rising.
For tonight, temperatures will quickly fall through the 60s after sunset, and lows head to the 40s.
Highs Wednesday top 80 in Tucson, and warm through the upper 80s by the weekend. According to Chief Meteorologist Matt Brode, Saturday will be the hottest of the bunch - with 88 degrees in the forecast. The record high for Saturday is 85 which was set back in 1957.
