TUCSON - The public is invited to explore nighttime wildlife with Arizona Game and Fish Department biologists at a free, animal-themed nature talk and walk starting 6 p.m. Friday, Aug. 3, at the Game and Fish offices, 555 N. Greasewood Road, and ending at Feliz Paseos Park.
Proper hiking attire should be worn, as the Feliz Paseos Park trail may include steep rocky areas. Flashlights or headlamps, blacklights, field guides, binoculars and water are all suggested. Participants must have transportation to Feliz Paseos Park at Silverbell and Greasewood roads from the Game and Fish office.
The purpose of the event is to introduce the public to night animals that can be encountered in the Sonoran Desert. Anyone interested in handling reptiles or amphibians must have a hunting license. Please no children under the age 5. Call Game and Fish at 520-628-5376 to register, or contact Wildlife Manager Karen Klima at 520-975-6490 or firstname.lastname@example.org with questions.
