TUCSON - A gorgeous weekend to go "Hittin' the Trails", but the government shutdown may cast a black cloud on your hiking plans.
This morning on Tucson Today, Meteorologist Jeff Beamish compiled a list of what trails are open & closed across southern Arizona. Here's what you need to know before you lace up:
- Coronado National Forest
- Sabino Canyon
- Ramsey Canyon Preserve
- Pima County trails
- Arizona state parks
- Saguaro National Park West & East
- Madera Canyon facilities, including parking
- Sabino Canyon Visitor's Center & parking lot
- Chiricahua National Monument
- Organ Pipe Cactus National Monument
- Bureau of Land Management lands, including the San Pedro River
