TUCSON - A Huey Helicopter Forum is being held this weekend at the Pima Air & Space Museum.
The Huey Forum showcases the varied history of the Bell UH-1 Iroquois "Huey" helicopter whose storied career has included countless civilian search and rescue missions, medical transports both at home and abroad, the Viet Nam War and so much more.
Pilots, crewmen and designers will be at the Pima Air & Space Museum this weekend beginning Friday Feb. 22nd. Come hear their tales about this amazing aircraft that has been in service for more than 50 years.
There is a meet and greet reception on Friday, February 22nd at 5:30 p.m. There will be panel discussions all day Saturday and Sunday, which are free with paid or member admission. There is also an opportunity to listen to and meet bestselling author of 'Chicken Hawk', Robert Mason.
On Sunday, Dillon Aerospace out of Mesa will be doing several fly-overs and landings on the Museum's grounds. Visitors will have the chance to see the Vietnam-era helicopter up close.
The Huey Forum is included in our regular and member admission price. For more information, visit our website at:
