Immigration activists storm Capitol during state of the state

PHOENIX - Immigration activists stormed the Capitol during Gov. Brewer's State of the State address Monday.

The demonstration was organized by Citizens for a Better Arizona, a nonpartisan organization formed in 2011 to address immigration issues in the state.

Calls for granting drivers licenses to the undocumented, further investigation into Child Protective Services and in-state tuition for Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals.

Protesters were chanting "let DREAMers drive" while they burned drivers licenses outside the capitol building.

A group of at least 75 people entered the building with a trash can full of stuffed animals. They left the dolls outside the governors office.
