TUCSON - Warmer than yesterday with more cloud cover.
High pressure off the West Coast steers in mid & high level clouds this afternoon, according to News 4 Meteorologist Jeff Beamish. Daytime highs peak in the mid 70's across Metro Tucson, a good 5° above average for early March.
The mercury continues to climb for the work week, with low 80's returning by Thursday.
Models still show a cold front clipping the Arizona/New Mexico border to wrap the week. A few showers may develop atop Mt. Graham and the White Mountains, but valley floors stay dry. Gusty winds up to 25 MPH are possible Friday and Saturday.
