BAGHDAD (AP) - Amid massive security, Iraqis Wednesday have been braving the threat of violence to take part in parliamentary elections -- the first nationwide balloting since the U.S. troop pullout three years ago. Hundreds of thousands of troops and police have been deployed to protect the balloting. But there were still scattered attacks north and west of Baghdad, killing at least five people.
