WASHINGTON (AP) - U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry will host Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi for a bilateral meeting and working lunch on Thursday to discuss bilateral issues, North Korea and Syria.
The Obama administration is working to build stronger relations with Beijing and manage tensions over alleged cyber threats emanating from China.
Obama met recently with Chinese President Xi Jinping on the sidelines of the Group of 20 in St. Petersburg, Russia.
Wang will be attending next week's opening session of the U.N. General Assembly in New York.
