TUCSON - Kristi's Kids' 3rd car seat giveaway was a huge success.
Eight phone lines, provided by LogIn, were ringing almost non-stop Wednesday afternoon. Each caller was hoping to register for an hour-and-a-half long car seat safety class. Upon completion of the free class, they get the free car seat.
The car seats were paid for by the Governor's Office of Highway Safety. Also partnering with Kristi's Kids for the giveaway was Tucson Medical Center, Safe Kids Pima County and the Tucson Police Department.
If you missed out on this giveaway, you can still get signed up for a safety class and free car seat. Just call the Geico "Ride Safe Kids" line at (520) 546-7340.
