Less wind, lots of warmth for your weekend

TUCSON - What a difference 24 hours makes.

After a gusty, dusty Thursday, the wrap to the work week looks perfect. High pressure dominates the western U.S. this weekend, according to News 4 Meteorologist Jeff Beamish. This afternoon, highs reach the upper 80's under sunny skies. Winds today will be much lighter, out of the northwest at 5-10 MPH.

Temperatures peak in the mid 90's this weekend, with upper 90's possible west of Metro Tucson.

A sneak peek at early next week shows the return of gusty winds, as a storm system passes north of the state. Expect 20 MPH to develop as soon as Monday.
