Less wind to wrap the work week

TUCSON - Fantastic Friday forecast for southern Arizona.

High temps run below late March normals today, according to News 4 Meteorologist Jeff Beamish. Expect mid 70's this afternoon under sunny skies, making the 2nd day in a row with below average highs.

Winds will be much lighter today, out of the west at 5-10 MPH.

Warmer temps arrive this weekend as Tucson reaches the mid 80's The Sonoran Wind Machine whips back up next week as a series of storms pass through the Great Basin. Gusty winds develop as early as Sunday.
