TUCSON - News 4 Tucson's food contributor, Jennifer English, stopped by with three recipes she found to help celebrate Valentine's Day and Arizona's Centennial.
Here they are:
Valentina Margarita
In a cocktail shaker or mixing glass combine
2 oz Silver Patron Tequila ( but Hornitos is also delicious and quite risque)
1 oz Passionfruit Nectar
1 oz. Cointreau
juice of 1 freshly squeezed lime
Shake well, then pour into 2 rocks glasses filled with good ice cubes.
French 65
3 oz Champagne
1 oz Cointreau
6 drops Angostura bitters
1 orange peel
In a mixing glass, combine Cointreau and
bitters with ice and stir. Strain into a frozen Champagne glass and add Champagne.
Spritz the cocktail with an orange twist.
