Let's Make a Meal: Irish Egg Rolls


3 cups shredded cabbage mix
2 oz chopped cooked bacon
2 tbl olive oil
1/2 cup chopped cooked corned beef
4 each large wanton wraps
2 oz shredded irish cheddar cheese
1 each large eggs
1 oz water
6 cups canola oil to fry


1. Add olive oil to large saute pan
2. Add chopped bacon saute for 1 minute, add cabbage mix to pan
3. Season with salt and pepper, saute for 2-3 minutes
4. Place on a cookie sheet and in the refrigerator to cool
5. When cool, add chopped corned beef, mix well
6. Place wanton on flat surface with the point toward your body
7. Spoon desired amount onto the center of the wanton but leave room for toppings and for folding
8. Add 1/2 oz cheese on top
9. Mix eggs and water to make an egg wash
10. Around the corners, place some egg wash to seal up egg roll
11. Tightly roll from corner to corner and be sure to tuck in the sides
12. Make sure your oil is hot at 350, and egg roll is tightly wrapped
13. Fry until golden brown, drain on a paper towel, and cut in half
14. Enjoy!
