Let's Make a Meal: Moules Frites


1 lb Mussels
1 ½ cup Dry White Wine
¼ Diced Onion
1 tbs Minced Garlic
¼ cup of bacon
1 tbs Parsley
4 oz crumbled blue cheese
Pinch of Salt and Pepper


Dice bacon and cook in skillet over medium heat until crispy- remove and set aside
Add onions and garlic and cook until soft- 3-5 minutes
Add white wine and simmer for 5-7 minutes
Add mussels, cheese, parsley and bacon
Cook until all mussels are open- 3-5 minutes
