TUCSON - Today on "Let's Make a Meal," Chef Paul Hains stopped by to make a Fall favorite: Pecan Pie.
Here's the recipe:
3 tbsp melted butter
1 cup sugar
1 cup corn syrup
pinch of salt
1 tsp vanilla
1 cup chopped pecans
Add melted butter
Whisk remaining ingredients
In an empty pie shell add chopped pecan to bottoms
Pour pie mixture on top of pecans
Decorate top of mixture with whole pecans
Bake at 420 for 15 mins
Reduce heat to 350 bake for additional 40 minutes
Remove and cool.
