TUCSON - On Friday's 'Let's Make a Meal', Chef Gordon Conup from the 'Steak Out' Restaurant gave us some turkey relief, by making a topping for steak.
Chef Conup made 'Port Wine Mushroom Steak Topping'. The recipe is below. Enjoy!
Port Wine Mushroom Steak Topping
Port wine for two : 1/4 cup port reduction
2 oz bacon bits
1/2 sliced criminni mushrooms
Tablespoon olive oil
Pinch fresh garlic
Pinch of salt
Saute garlic and mushrooms until brown, hit with port wine reduction, reduce to nickel-sized bubbles. Add salt, butter and bacon.
