Let's Make a Meal: Shrimp Scampi with Linguini

TUCSON - Today on News 4 Tucson at 4 p.m.'s "Let's Make a Meal," Mary Weger from Venice Restaurant stopped by to make:

Shrimp Scampi w/ Linguini

6 shrimp (size 15 to a pound)
In a Skillet cover bottom w/ olive oil and 2 teaspoons of garlic
3 pats of butter
Sauté' garlic until lightly cooked add shrimp.
Cook shrimp until white, then a minute more

Spice With:

Salt & Pepper
Sprinkle Shrimp with Granulated Garlic
Pinch of oregano
Touch of white wine (White Sauterne )
Squeeze a lemon and let it cook with shrimp

Sprinkle with Parmigiana Cheese

Serve on top of Linguini

Salad & Garlic Bread
