FORT MYERS. Fla. - About a million and a half people have been keeping their eyes on a live web camera set up on the Gulf Coast of Florida.
The "Eagle Cam" is set up directly above a Bald Eagle nest. A pair of Eagles, nicknamed Ozzie and Harriet have called this nest home for the past 5 years. And overnight, they welcomed a New Year's baby hatchling!
Followers are now hoping for a live glimpse of Harriet feeding her baby, or possibly, the opportunity to watch as a second eaglet hatches.
Watch the live "Eagle Cam" here.
