TUCSON - A magnificent March day in store across the Sonoran Desert.
Sunny skies and light winds are on tap for your Monday afternoon, according to News 4 Meteorologist Jeff Beamish. High temps today reach the upper 70's in Tucson, a good 4-6° above average for this time of year.
Winds this afternoon will be out of the west-northwest at 5-15 MPH.
The Sonoran Wind Machine cranks back up by Wednesday, as a trough approaches from the Pacific Northwest. 20-25 MPH wind gusts help drive pollen counts into the high territory, with mulberry, pine, cottonwood and ash being the main pollen makers.
