Lots of warmth, little punch from Paul

TUCSON - No Fall-like feel for the next week.

Daytime highs continue to run well above average, according to News 4 Meteorologist Jeff Beamish. A persistent dome of high pressure remains parked off the California coast the next several days. High temps this afternoon through early next week will be in the upper 80's to low 90's; 5-7 degrees above normal.

We'll see a good amount of sunshine the next 7 days, but decaying Hurricane Paul over Baja California spills some cloud cover in our direction. Expect partly cloudy skies Thursday and Friday with any chance of rain south of the International Border.

Overnight lows drop to the low 60's the next several nights.
