Man injured in crash involving ATV and car dies

TUCSON, Ariz. (AP) - Authorities say a man injured in an ATV crash in Tucson last month has died.

Pima County Sheriff's officials say 27-year-old Joshua Gradillas succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead Sunday.

Sheriff's deputies in the San Xavier District responded to a desert area on July 13 about a collision involving an ATV and a car with four people inside.

They say Gradillas was driving the ATV and was thrown from the vehicle.

He wasn't wearing a helmet and was transported to a trauma center in Tucson with life-threatening injuries.

Sheriff's investigators say alcohol was a factor in the collision.
