TUCSON - A guilty verdict was reached in the case of a man who shot at police Tuesday.
Sergio Rojo-Valenzuela, 20, was convicted of attempted first degree murder and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
The shooting happened last August, when Rojo-Valenzuela and two men were pointing weapons and people near the car wash South Liberty and Irvington roads, Tucson Police Sgt. Maria Hawke said.
Rojo-Valenzuela shot at the responding officer.
The other two suspects who were with Rojo-Valenzuela -- Arxeniz Carrillo, 25, and Tapia Paloma, 24, are still awaiting trial.
