TUCSON - High pressure over the southwest will keep temperatures on the rise through midweek.
A seasonable start to the day will give way another warm afternoon with highs in the mid 70s, according to Meteorologist John Patrick. Highs will remain nearly ten degrees above average through the MLK holiday and don't peak until later this week.
By Wednesday daytime highs get close to 80 as high pressure sets up right on top of the state. A weak weather disturbance moves through to wrap up the work week bringing the temps back down to the low 70s.
