TUCSON - A memorial is growing outside a southside home where the remains of a child were found earlier this week.
From family members to strangers, many have stopped by leaving balloons and other items outside the fence of the home on Idaho Street.
Among the items were food and water - two things police say 3-year-old Roman Barreras was denied. His mother, Raquel, is accused of starving him to death before placing his remains in a toy chest.
Raquel and Martin Barreras currently remain in Pima County Jail on child abuse charges. Raquel is also charged with First-Degree murder.
