Meth, coke and ecstasy found in WD-40 can

TUCSON - Border Patrol agents at the State Route 90 checkpoint confiscated drugs nestled inside a can of WD40, a release detailed.

A Customs and Border Patrol canine alerted agents to the drugs earlier this week when a car attempted to pass the checkpoint.

Agents discovered cocaine, meth and ecstasy in a false bottom of the WD40. The driver, a US citizen, was also charged with possessing marijuana.

The vehicle and the drugs were seized and the suspect was charged in accordance with Border Patrol procedures. Customs and Border Patrol officials say smugglers often use such techniques to hide contraband but rarely escape the nose of a trained dog.
