Midtown shooting leaves man critical, suspect at large

TUCSON - Detectives are investigating a shooting in midtown.

A male victim called 911 just before 2 p.m. Wednesday from the 1800 block of North Rosemary Blvd., near Pima Street and Alvernon Road reporting that he had been shot, Tucson Police Department spokesman Sgt. Chris Widmer said.

A Hispanic man wearing a blue sweatshirt was seen running from the home, Widmer said.

The victim was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.

No further details were immediately available.
