TUCSON - Our next storm system is on the way for another cool down and a slight chance of rain.
Tucson will round out the weekend with temperatures pretty close to where they should be for early January, according to Meteorologist John Patrick. The Old Pueblo woke up to a low of 40 and should finish off the day in the mid 60s with increasing high clouds ahead of our next pacific storm system.
Our next storm system tracks across Northern Sonora to start the work week cooling us back down and bringing a slight chance of showers. Temperatures drop back into the 50s for highs on Monday with partly cloudy skies. The best chance for showers comes Monday afternoon into early Tuesday morning for areas south and east of Tucson. Precipitations values look low with up to 0.25" of valley rain and 1-2" of snow above 5,000 feet.
Clearing out and warming up as we head into Tuesday and Wednesday as the 60s return under sunny skies. Expecting another shot of cold air late this week. Click here for your True View 4 Extended Forecast.
