TUCSON - Ample moisture from Hurricane Marie is helping to boost storm chances today and will continue through Tuesday. Most of the region is under a Flash Flood watch through Tuesday at noon.
Scattered to numerous storms will develop through the next 12 hours with the greatest threat being flash flooding.
Storms will linger well into the overnight hours and many could continue through Tuesday morning. The heaviest rain threat should shift north of the City of Tucson by Tuesday afternoon.
Many spots could receive fro 1-2" of rain through Tuesday and a few storms could be on the severe side with damaging winds.
Much drier air will settle back into the region by the middle of the week.
