TUCSON - Another round of isolated to scattered storms back in the forecast for your Friday afternoon.
Waking up to mostly cloudy skies this morning should delay storm activity until later on this afternoon. If the morning clouds erode the best storm chances will be from Tucson and points south and east. Those storms that do develop will be capable of heavy rainfall which could lead to some flooding issues.
Our monsoon ridge of high pressure is in a favorable position to keep isolated to scattered storms in the forecast through the upcoming weekend. Daytime highs will stay close to average for early August topping out in the mid to upper 90s over the next several days.
