TUCSON - Sunday's storm wreaked major havoc across Town. Power poles, roofing and hundreds of trees came tumbling down in the wind.
For property owners, the debris is a major mess, but for local tree removal companies, it's major business.
Jim Bredice, owner of Branching Out Tree Services, says he was already getting calls from clients late last night.
"We normally work full time plus overtime this time of year, but this is full time plus overtime plus overtime."
His customer, Walter Zagorsky, says this weekend's storm was one of the worst he's seen. He showed News 4 the damage his fallen tree caused.
"This tree started over here and it uprooted this tree and it fell across the driveway."
With so much business in such a short amount of time, Bredice says the Monsoon can bring in extra profit.
"It probably jumps us up about another 20 percent or so."
Steve Coronado, who works for R.O. Tree Service, says his company telephones have also been ringing off the hook.
"We've even had people stop and ask for a quote while we're working. They're like 'hey we've got a tree over here, can you give us a quote?' and I'm like 'hey I'm just trying to finish this one right now.'"
However, just like Jim, he's not complaining.
"We've got work so we can't be upset about that."
