TUCSON - A new week and a new chance of rainfall.
Cloud cover increases today courtesy of a trough off the Baja coast, according to News 4 Meteorologist Jeff Beamish. Like late last week, we'll see partly cloudy skies with highs topping out 4-6 degree above average. Clouds hang on during the overnight hours & daytime hours Tuesday.
Enough moisture gets pulled in from the tropics to develop isolated showers late tomorrow night through early Wednesday afternoon. The best chance of showers will be east of a Tucson-Nogales line, with rainfall amounts generally under 0.10". Our slim rain chances cease by the Wednesday afternoon rush hour.
High pressure builds over the West for Thanksgiving and Black Friday, as high temps make a run at the 80 degree mark. Chamber of Commerce weather should hold through the weekend as well.
