TUCSON - Thursday's weather featured hot temperatures and less moisture than Wednesday. This meant less storm activity for the mountains. Hopefully it felt less humid if you spent some time outdoors.
Expect another mild night as temperatures will dip into the mid 70s for lows. It's more of the same for Friday with temperatures exceeding 100 degrees under partly cloudy skies. A little more moisture will provide a better chance of isolated storms, but most of will remain east of Tucson.
Dry but breezy weather will continue into Father's Day weekend with slightly cooler temperatures. Monsoon 2014 officially begins on Sunday with or without the rain.
Some of our forecasting tools are hinting at another increase in moisture by the middle of next week.
