More problems for UA football star

TUCSON - University of Arizona football star, Ka'Deem Carey, is facing more problems after being removed from a Wildcats basketball game.

According to a University of Arizona police report, Carey and his cousin were told to leave the game after being involved in an argument with both a police officer and an event staff member.

Initially, the report says that officers asked the pair to leave the Zona Zoo student section because they were double-seated and sitting on the backs of their chairs.

When the officer asked to see their tickets, Carey responded with an expletive and told the officer to get out of his face, according to the report. Carey then asked the officer, "Don't you know who I am? I'm an All-American..."

The conversation was then taken outside of McKale Center, according to the report.

At one point, Carey got close to the officer, who then warned Carey that he needed to "back off."

Eventually, Carey and his cousin were told that they had to leave the property, according to the report. Both men reportedly apologized to police.

UAPD was not available to comment on this incident because it will be handled through the Dean of Students office. Neither Carey nor his cousin will face any charges, according to UAPD.
