More than 2 dozen flee I-40 rollover scene

WINONA, Ariz. (AP) - Authorities are searching for as many as 14 people who ran from a vehicle after it rolled over in northern Arizona.

KTVK-TV reports the Arizona Department of Public Safety and Coconino Sheriff's Office say several people fled the scene Friday night near Winona, which is 10 miles east of Flagstaff.

According to DPS, the vehicle rolled on eastbound I-40 and some witnesses reported as many as 20 people may have been in the vehicle.

DPS says five people were found and taken to area hospitals for their injuries. Authorities say the driver was caught after fleeing.

DPS says the other victims could be dealing with injuries and cold temperatures.
