CASA GRANDE - A murder-suicide is under investigation by the Pinal County Sheriff's Office in Casa Grande.
On Sunday, Nov. 3rd at 3:53 p.m., the Pinal County Sheriff's Office received a 9-1-1 call that shots had been fired in the 10000 block of North Baltimore Drive in Casa Grande.
When deputies arrived, they located a man and a woman, both dead, in a yard. Both individuals appeared to have died from gunshot wounds.
The woman was 45 years old and the man was 46 years old. The two were married.
Based on evidence at the scene, detectives say the man shot his wife and then shot himself. Detectives are still in the process of trying to notify next of kin who are out of state. It's not clear at this time what the motive for the shooting was and the case remains under investigation.
