TUCSON - From Fall to Winter in a matter of days.

High pressure parked over Reno brings abnormal November heat to start the week, according to News 4 Meteorologist Jeff Beamish. Today through Wednesday, expect mostly sunny skies and highs flirting with 90 degrees. These temperatures are 8-10 degrees above average for this time of year.

A major shift in the weather comes later this week, as a strong cold front crashes down the Pacific coast from Alaska. Gusty winds up to 25 MPH develop ahead of the front Thursday, with isolated showers possible Friday and Saturday. Temperatures will be cold enough late Friday into Saturday to produce mountain snow.

Expect the cold front to be east of the state late Saturday, with much cooler temps filtering in from the north. Forecast highs for this weekend struggle to reach the low 60's; a good 30 degrees cooler than the start of week & 15-20 degrees cooler than normal.
